GOSHEN —
Don and Waneta (Mast) Haarer, Goshen, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 25.
They were married Aug. 25, 1962, at Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, Kokomo, by the Rev. Clayton Sommers.
They have three children, Doug (Kristi) Haarer, Middlebury, Denise (Terry) Knepp, Millersburg, and Daryl (Crystal) Haarer, Middlebury. They have seven grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a private party with family and friends and a Christian cruise to the Bahamas in February.
Don is a driver for the Amish. He was employed 11 years at Starcraft in Topeka and 31 years at Supreme Corp. in Goshen. He retired in 2007.
Waneta is a homemaker and was employed for 15 years at Walnut Hill Daycare Center. She retired in 2010.
