Michael and Pamala (Bunger) Garber, White Pigeon, Mich., are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Oct. 27, 1962, by the Rev. Milton Persons at St. Mark’s Methodist Church, Goshen.
Their celebration plans include a trip to Mackinac Island, Mich.
They have a son, Brock (Pam) Garber, South Haven, Mich., and a daughter, Monica (Rod) Solina, Goshen, and three granddaughters.
He retired in 2004 after 27 years with Trelleborg Automotive and its predecessors, South Haven Rubber Company/Yale-South Haven. He volunteers as a Red Coat at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She is a homemaker.
The Garbers enjoy spending time with their children, granddaughters, family and friends. They have taken several trips to Germany, staying in small towns with acquaintances.
