GOSHEN —
Ray and Ruth (Bixler) Tyson, Goshen, are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
They were married Dec. 5, 1942, in Elkhart County by Ralph Smucker.
Family and friends of the Tysons are invited to an anniversary open house Dec. 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Community Center of Greencroft in Goshen. The couple requests no gifts.
Their children include Becky Tyson (Perc Blosser) Elkhart, Brenda (Andy) Buller, Goshen, and Kerm (Michele) Tyson, Leesburg. They have 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The Tysons were owned and managed Shamrock Mobile Home Parks in Nappanee and Warsaw until their retirement in 1984. They are members of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, Goshen.
