Lavern and Martha Ann (Merkle) Myers, Elkhart, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 2.
The couple was married June 2, 1962, in North Manchester.
Their children include Michael (Kathy) Myers, Fort Wayne, Angela (Todd) Bryant, Evansville, and Ed Myers, Seoul, South Korea. They have eight grandchildren.
Mr. Myers retired in 1992 as a coach and teacher for Elkhart Community Schools.
Mrs. Myers retired in 2007 as a teacher for Concord Community Schools and is a retired medical technologist from Goshen General Hospital.
The couple plan to celebrate with several family gatherings this summer.
