Kauffman 50th

GOSHEN — Maynard and Joyce (Eichelberger) Kauffman, Tippecanoe, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married Jan. 6, 1962, by Ivan Miller at Emma Mennonite Church.

Their children include Scott (Sally) Kauffman, Bourbon, Rick (Laura) Kauffman, Goshen, Tina (Thomas) Duncan, Roanoke, Tonya Kauffman and Adam Kauffman, both of  Goshen. They have 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends and family of the couple are invited to an anniversary reception Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park. Their children will host the event.

He worked in poultry farming in Warsaw for a number of years. He then worked in construction, retiring in 2005.

She worked in various health-care jobs and as a secretary for Dr. Betina. She retired in 2005. Since retirement, the couple have enjoyed traveling in their RV.
