GOSHEN —
Malcolm and Sharron (Wetzel) Prough, Shipshewana, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Nov. 10, 1962, at Shipshewana Methodist Church by the Rev. Howard K. Fox.
They celebrated their anniversary this summer at a private family celebration.
Their children include Brendan Prough, Hollywood, Calif., Cynthia (Paul) Shires, Flowery Branch, Ga., Heather (Steven) Edwards, West Lafayette, and foster son, James (Ellyn) Book, Peoria, Ill.
They have five grandchildren, a foster grandchild and a foster great-grandchild.
He retired in 2008 from ownership of Prough Farms Agribusiness.
She is a homemaker and assisted in the business. The Proughs winter in Sarasota, Fla.
