GOSHEN —
Richard and Betty (Gouker) Stutsman of Goshen are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
They were married Aug. 31, 1947, by the Rev. George Stull at the home of the bride.
The Stutsmans plan to celebrate their anniversary at a family gathering.
Their children include a daughter, Elaine (Randy) Sharkey of Goshen, and a son, Wayne Stutsman of Goshen. They have five grandchildren.
He served in World War II and the Korean War and retired after 30 years of employment at the Goshen Post Office. He also worked for 10 years as a courier for Salem Bank, at Logan Monument and at a furniture store. For the past 16 years, he has done volunteer work at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She retired after 21 years of employment at McDonalds and has volunteered at IU Health Goshen Hospital for 14 years.
The Stutsmans have lived at Greencroft for more than nine years.
