GOSHEN —
Charles H. and LaVeta (Fodge) Neff, Goshen, are celebrating their 72nd wedding anniversary.
They were married Sept. 29, 1940, at Plymouth United Church of Christ by the Rev. Cleon Swartz.
They plan to celebrate the occasion at a family gathering.
Their children include Lynn C. and Judy (Baker) Neff, Lillian, Ala., and Larry and Susie D. Neff, Goshen. They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He retired in 1970 after working at Martin’s Feed Mill for 35 years.
She is a homemaker and worked as a beautician.
The Neffs have spent their retirement in Florida and Goshen, enjoying their hobbies of collecting antiques, woodcarving, reading and socializing.
