Richard D. and Carolyn (Cobb) Cripe, Syracuse, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married March 29, 1959, at the First Brethren Church, New Paris, by the Rev. E.M. Riddle.
They and their daughter and son-in-law, Jeannine and Phillip Tom, Middlebury, are celebrating their wedding anniversary and have returned from a trip to Maine and the Canadian Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
They also have a son, Douglas Cripe, Lebanon, Ill., and four grandchildren.
He is president of Turtle Top and she is a homemaker.
