Allen and Barbara (Miller) Sharick, Shipshewana, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married Nov. 21, 1959, at Middlebury Mennonite Church by their fathers, William Miller and George Sharick.

They plan an anniversary celebration with their children and their families at their winter residence in Florida at Christmas time.

Their children include Mark (Michelle) Sharick, Topeka, Sheila (Wes) Miller, Middlebury, Kevin (Stephanie) Sharick, Shipshewana, and James (Connie) Sharick, Glendale, Calif. They have 14 grandchildren.

They retired from farming in 2000. He is a delivery driver for K-Z Inc., Shipshewana, and she owns Barb’s Posey Patch Greenhouse, Shipshewana.
