Wayne and June (Cart) Whitehead, New Paris, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
They were married Nov. 19, 1949, at New Paris Methodist Church by the Rev. E.J. Aurther.
They took a trip to Utah in October to celebrate their anniversary.
Their children include Stephen Whitehead, Boulder, Colo., and Janell (Mike) Rink, Millersburg. They have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He retired in 1988 from the U.S. Postal Service and she retired in 2005 as a beautician.
