Charles Henry and Sharon (Whitledge) Smith, Goshen, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Aug. 18, 1962, at Lake Station.
They will be honored at an anniversary open house Aug. 18 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Prairieview Missionary Church, Dierdorff Road, Goshen.
Their children include Roger and Emily Smith, Glocester, Mass., Darin and Audrey Smith, Goshen, Janet Fager, Columbia City, Michelle and Mark Sharick, Topeka, Sharren and Brian Poppenfose, Brownsburg, and Randy and Carrie Smith, Goshen. They have 17 grandchildren.
He works at Tri-State Compressor Air and she is a homemaker.
