GOSHEN —
Merle and Barbara (Lambright) Bontrager, Goshen, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Oct. 21, 1962, by Eli D. Miller at Griner Mennonite Church.
Their children include LaWayne and Jenny Bontrager and DeWayne and Sam Bontrager, all of Atlanta, Ga., and Anita Bontrager, Louisville, Ky. They have one grandchild.
He is self employed as owner of Merle’s Electric & Plumbing. She is a homemaker and a nursing assistant at IU Health Goshen Hospital. The Bontragers attend New Paris Missionary Church.
They were honored at a surprise anniversary party Saturday at the home of Gene and Mable Wageman, Goshen.
