Lester and Katie (Miller) Shrock, Shipshewana, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Nov. 3, 1962, at Emma Mennonite Church in Topeka.
They plan to celebrate the occasion with a family dinner.
Their children include Michele (Keith) Grimm, Albion, and Charlene (David) Smith, Wilkinson. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He has worked as an X-ray technician since 1961 and as a Touch for Health muscle-balance practitioner since 2004.
She retired in 1997 from Shipshewana Elementary School and works part-time at the Shipshewana Auction Restaurant.
