This year's pumpkin tree rises high in the downtown square Tuesday. The pumpkin tree will remain at the square for the next several weeks. This year's tree has a decidedly decorative flair, as it showcases several tiers of artfully rendered pumpkins painted by students of NorthWood Middle School. Some of the pumpkins feature sports logos and motifs, while others display pop culture icons, including Hello Kitty, M & Ms, and even a few interpretations of Internet memes.
