Nappanee tornado

NorthWood High School juniors Colleen Yoder and Britney Vance use their cell phones to take photos of the damage along U.S. 6 Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in Nappanee, Ind, after an apparent tornado ripped through the area late Thursday. Authorities declared a state of emergency in the town, about 20 miles southeast of South Bend. Police said several people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries as a strong line of thunderstorms moved through Indiana.
