Union files federal lawsuit against Cequent

GOSHEN — The United Steelworkers union has filed a lawsuit in federal court to stop Cequent Performance Products from removing equipment from the plant and moving it to Mexico.

Workers gathered outside the plant today to protest the proposed moved of their jobs to Mexico and also announced the lawsuitl. Union officials said negotiations are continuing with Cequent managment but the company has been moving equipment out of the plant.
