A three-vehicle crash left three people hurt Friday night southeast of Goshen.
Elkhart County police said the collision occurred shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 33 and C.R. 42. According to police, a westbound 1999 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Dylan White, 19, New Paris, collided with a northbound 1998 GMC Sonoma driven by Juan Najera, 50, Syracuse.
The GMC spun in the roadway and was struck by a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Ricky Bryant, 50, New Paris.
White was unhurt in the crash. Najera suffered a back injury and was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital; police indicated his injury wasn’t life-threatening.
Bryant suffered a chest injury and a broken ankle and a passenger in his vehicle, Angel Bryant, 37, suffered chest pain. Both were transported by ambulance to IU Health Goshen Hospital.
Police said White was issued a citation for disregarding a stop sign.
