GOSHEN —
The Redevelopment Commission will release bids for the selective demolition of non-historical parts of the Hawks Building structure during Tuesday’s meeting.
The bids will also need to include remediation for the soil under the parts of the building demolished, according to the request.
Bids can be submitted up until the time of the meeting in the clerk-treasurer’s office.
A tax increment report will also be delivered as a “Special Purpose Report” at the meeting. The 40-plus page report details amounts of money gained from the development areas around the city, as well as the allocations of the funds.
There will also be discussion of the forthcoming improvements to the Hawks Building, as well as updates on the Brownfield Mediation Project and the Millrace Canal Levee Stabilization project.
