HOWE —
A one-vehicle crash near Howe Saturday night killed a LaGrange man.
Dead is Efren Caballero, 25.
The collision occurred around 9:40 p.m. on C.R. 600 North near C.R. 250 East. LaGrange County police said a 1997 Honda Civic driven by Caballero struck a utility pole. Police said Caballaro was ejected from the Honda Civic and a passenger, Hermosa Murray, 23, Elkhart, was found lying on the ground partially under the vehicle.
Caballaro was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries. Murray was airlifted to Parkview Regional Hospital for possible internal injuries.
