Goshen Board of Works meets Monday

GOSHEN — Bids and proposals for street and utility work were approved by members of the Goshen Board of Works, which met in weekly session Monday.

The bid from Niblock Excavating and Construction for paving the Shanklin Park Drive was approved Monday. The Niblock bid, for $38,870, was the lowest and best of three bids received last week.

The board also agreed to hire Sprectra Tech LLC to provide maintenance repairs to three city sewer lift stations and 13 manholes for the city’s wastewater system. The cost was set at not-to-exceed $61,890 and will be completed within 60 days.
