Preschool mothers to host film about faith

GOSHEN — Harvest Community Church will present “A Courageous Night: Dinner and A Movie” Feb. 11.

This special event, where the feature film “Courageous” will be shown, is sponsored by Mothers of Preschoolers of Harvest Community Church.

A synopsis of the movie provided by the church is: “‘Courageous’ is the story of four men with one calling — to serve and protect. When tragedy strikes home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith and their fathering. Their compelling story is touching hearts and lives nationwide.”

The event will start at 5:30 p.m. with a soup and salad dinner and silent auction.

“Courageous” will begin at 7 p.m.

Dinner tickets cost $5 and a donation of $5 is suggested for movie tickets. All proceeds will benefit the Harvest MOPS group. MOPS is an organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging mothers of preschoolers through education, support, mentors and encouragement.

MOPS meets twice a month at Harvest.

Tickets for the “Courageous” event may be purchased online at www.hccgoshen.org/courageousevent or by calling 534-3528. Harvest Community Church is located at 17285 C.R. 34 in Goshen, one-quarter mile east of the fair grounds.
