A Bristol woman was committed to Elkhart General Hospital for 24 hours of observation after police and firefighters were called to a fire at her apartment.
Elkhart County police reported they were called to a fire at 1:58 a.m. Saturday at 19 Maple St., Bristol.
Police reported the woman allegedly refused to leave the scene while firefighters were working, so she was arrested.
