Pilgrim International has laid off 160 of its employees and temporarily ceased all operations, according to partner Dave Hoefer Sr.
“We are in the process of negotiations with the bank. Right now we’re not running any production,” he said.
According to Hoefer, the Middlebury-based RV manufacturer won’t know anything more of their situation until sometime next week.
“The sad thing is the people, the families, everything affected. But we have to look at it all,” he said.
