Milford man arrested on drug-related charges

WARSAW, Ind. — A Milford man was arrested on drug charges late Wednesday after Warsaw police found what they called a mobile methamphetamine lab in the trunk of a car.

Warsaw police Lt. Joe Stanley checked on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Walgreen’s pharmacy at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they found a meth lab in the initial process of production in a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu owned by Amanda Mullins, Warsaw.

Police reportedly seized large amounts of precursors used in the making of the drug.

Mullins, 36, was released but police said they will request warrants for felony drug charges in the case.

Juan Palmer Olivo, 31, 311 W. Fourth St., Milford, was arrested on charges of possession of anhydrous ammonia dealing the drug within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of methampetamine, possession of precursors for making the drug and possession of marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Kosciusko County jail.
