GOSHEN —
The Goshen-Go-Getters 4-H Club announced their Outstanding 4-H’er at the Club’s 2012 Achievement Program on Monday at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Katie Ditmars was named the Outstanding Goshen-Go-Getter for 2012. She is a freshman at Goshen College.
This is her eighth year of 4-H club work. This past year Ditmars participated in 18 of the club’s community service projects and has served on numerous club committees and also was the club’s president.
She participated in the county 4-H Share-the-Fun contest and presented several demonstrations at club meetings. Besides the two 4-H projects she completed as a member of the Goshen-Go-Getters, she was also a member of the County 4-H Junior Leader Club. Ditmars is the daughter of Dave and Tracey Ditmars of Goshen.

Charlie Daniels Band coming to Shipshewana
