BENTON —
Fire destroyed a barn between Benton and Syracuse this morning.
The structure, owned by Walt Steffen, was located near the intersection of C.R.s 48 and 33. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 9:42 a.m.
Firefighters from Benton and Clinton townships and New Paris and Syracuse were called to fight the blaze.
