GOSHEN —
MOPS of Harvest Community Church is launching its new year with the start of a new school year.
MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) is an organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging mothers of preschoolers. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every preschool mom.
Part of MOPS International, MOPS of Harvest Community Church meets twice a month on the first and third Thursday morning of each month during the school year. Each meeting consists of a warm breakfast, a devotional, a short speaker and a small group discussion with a “mentor mom.” Childcare and snacks for the kids will be provided.
Moms interested in joining MOPS are invited to an open house Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at Harvest Community Church, 17285 C.R. 34, Goshen (a quarter mile past the fairgrounds).
The cost for MOPS is $10 per semester, although scholarships are available.
For more information, call the church office at 534-3528 or visit www.hccgoshen.org/mops for a list of meeting dates and to register online.
