GOSHEN —
Like most typical Saturday mornings, a steady stream of traffic drove up and down Ind. 15 in front of Bethany Christian Schools and the location were the Rev. Carl Adams of Spirit of Faith Fellowship holds worship services each and every Sunday morning.
But this past Saturday things looked a little different. Signs placed on either side of Ind. 15 and on the lawn of Bethany offered “Prayers to Go.” Motorists could pull in and pray with a person from the church about any issue, then drive away.
Adams said that they were able to touch several lives.
One person had lost his sister the previous day and was just driving around trying to figure things out.
Two friends were on their way to the airport to go skydiving and wanted to pray before they jumped.
Even if the cars didn’t pull in, the members of Spirit of Faith Fellowship said a prayer as the cars drove by.
Spirit of Faith Fellowship will be offering their drive through prayer ministry the second Saturday of each month weather permitting.
Spirit of Faith Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian fellowship. They meet each Sunday morning at 10:30 at Bethany Christian School. For more information, contact Pastor Carl Adams at 574-202-1840.
