ROAD WORK: C.R. 42 near Goshen airport, Violett Road to close for work Tuesday

GOSHEN — The Elkhart County Highway Department announced the following road work:

• On Tuesday, Aug. 21, Elkhart County Highway will be doing chip and seal on C.R. 42 from U.S. 33 to C.R. 27. After they finish that, they will move to Violett Road from C.R. 40 to C.R. 38. These roads will be closed to traffic while the work is being done.
• On Wednesday, Aug. 22, road crews will be working on both Steury Avenue and Logan Street.  They will try to do a lane at a time, so traffic will be delayed, but not closed completely.
