Three new employees — Trent Stump, Abiel Valdez and Todd Wyatt — have been added to the MapleTronics Computers team.
• Trent Stump joins the Goshen-based company as a home and office service writer, assisting with check-in of hardware brought in for repair and serving as the main liaison between clients and MapleTronics’ inside service technicians. He will also answer service status calls, follow up on completed inside service repairs, and support showroom sales as needed.
Stump, a native and current resident of Nappanee and a 2000 graduate of NorthWood High School, formerly worked at Medix Specialty Vehicles. He earned his associate’s degree in Computer and electronics engineering technology from ITT Technical Institute in Norwood, Ohio.
• Abiel Valdez joins the team as a MapleNet Help Desk support analyst and PC recycling tech. His duties include Internet and e-mail support for MapleNet and MapleTronics’ clients, and he will also rebuild older PCs in order to donate them to local charities for disbursement to those in need.
Valdez is a native of Monterrey, Mexico. He graduated from Goshen High School in 2001 and resides in Elkhart with his wife, Jennifer. He formerly worked as a home theater/telecom technician/electrician, installing custom theater systems in business and residential locations.
• Todd Wyatt has 14 years of experience in the information technology field. As an inside sales representative, Wyatt is responsible for making follow-up calls to MapleTronics clients who have recently purchased hardware or received service from the company, taking incoming calls from new corporate clients, and making follow-up calls in support of events and marketing campaigns.
The Fort Wayne native graduated from Norwell High School in Ossian, Indiana in 1990 and earned his associate’s degree in applied sciences-computer sciences from International Business College in 1994. He and his wife, Melissa, and their two children live in Nappanee.
