GOSHEN —
A one-vehicle crash left a Goshen man critically injured Sunday morning.
Goshen police said the mishap occurred shortly after 3 a.m. along Ind. 119 (Plymouth Avenue) near Foxbriar Lane. An eastbound 1999 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Jose N. Guadarrama-Miranda, 25, Goshen, went off the south side of the road and collided with a utility pole.
Police said Guadarrama-Miranda suffered an internal head injury, and was found lying unconscious in the Jetta’s front passenger seat after the crash. Guadarrama-Miranda was taken to IU Health Goshen Hospital, and later transpored to a trauma center in Fort Wayne.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
