A Syracuse man has died as a result of injuries he suffered in a one-vehicle crash earlier this week near Tippecanoe Lake.
Dead is Corey F. Kneller, 41.
Kosciusko County police were called to Kosciusko Community Hospital shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday. Emergency room personnel said they had a victim of an automobile crash at their facility.
Officers learned that Kneller had been involved in a crash and been driven to the emergency room. Kneller had internal and head injuries and was later transferred to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Police found Kneller’s 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. Investigators believe Kneller had been westbound on C.R. 800 North when the Pontiac when off the road at C.R. 400 East and struck a tree. The vehicle then caught fire.
Allen County coroner’s staff told Kosciusko County police Friday that Kneller had died.

The Middlebury Police Department has received complaints from local residents of a scam that is being done in the area. Residents receive a call from an individual who identifies himself from Publishers Clearing House. He advises the resident that they have won a luxury car and $800,000 in cash.
