Two children were critically injured when a horse spooked and they were dragged in a buggy at a home near Etna Green Friday afternoon.
According to Kosicusko County police, Barbara Miller, who lives at 9th B Road, Bourbon, was preparing to leave a home at 6891 N. C.R. 750 West, Etna Green, when a horse suddenly backed up and flipped her buggy onto its side. Two small children who had been placed inside the buggy, a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old girl, were hurt when the horse went forward, dragging the buggy about 50 yards on a stone driveway.
The children were removed after the horse and buggy were stopped and the children were airlifted to Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne. They were listed in critical condition Friday.
