Several motorists were injured in recent crashes responded to by Goshen police, according to recent police reports:

• A two-vehicle crash injured two people shortly before noon Monday at Plymouth Avenue and Sixth Street.

Police said a 2007 Hyundai Entourage driven by Patricia E. Barhydt, 53, Millersburg, collided with a 2005 Lexus driven by Karen M. Fidler, 45, Goshen.

A passenger in the Hyundai, Jayden Miller, 13, Goshen, suffered head pain as a result of the crash. A passenger in the Lexus, Jennifer Eby, 41, Battle Creek, Mich., suffered chest pain.

• A collision shortly before 6 p.m. Monday at Plymouth Avenue and Ind. 15 left two people injured.

A 1999 Chevrolet G10 driven by Patricia A. McNeal, 62, Goshen, collided with a 2004 Dodge Neon driven by Marli Vanover, 23, Goshen.

Vanover suffered knee pain as a result of the crash. A passenger in the Neon, Connor Vanover, 20, Goshen, suffered back pain.

• A passenger was hurt in a two-vehicle collision around 3 a.m. Sunday at U.S. 33 and Peddlers Village Road.

Police said Nancy Torres, 18, Ligonier, was driving a 1994 GM Suburban on U.S. 33 and was passing a 1999 Pontiac Montana driven by Jessica Acuahuitlcieco, 20, Pierceton, when she lost control of the Suburban and the vehicles collided.

A passenger in the Torres’ vehicle, Maria Murillo, 18, Ligonier, suffered an abrasion in the crash.

• A two-vehicle crash at U.S. 33 and College Avenue shortly before noon Thursday left a passenger injured.

Police said a 2005 Ford Escape driven by Jorge E. Espada III, 21, New Paris, struck the rear of a 2006 Scion driven by Jeremiah Wade, 34, Goshen. A passenger in the Scion, Scarlett Wade, 5, suffered head pain.

Fleeing person reports

• A juvenile male fled from Goshen police in an abandoned building on 1375 Lincolnway East, Goshen, at 11:07 a.m. Thursday. The male was found a short time later hiding in a bathroom at a nearby business, according to police

Theft/burglary reports

• Dean T. Lamb, 56086 C.R. 21, Bristol, told Elkhart County police someone stole scrap metal from his residence and sold it for cash around 10:42 a.m. Wednesday.

• Beth Simper, 19317 C.R. 2, Bristol, told Elkhart County police someone entered her residence by force and took jewelry, money and a jewelry box between 6:30 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Thursday.

• A representative of First State Bank, 201 N. Main St., Goshen, told Goshen police someone presented a forged, stolen check and gave information as to who tried to cash it for payment at 3:23 p.m. Jan. 25. The check was stolen from a Plymouth resident in a home burglary, police said.

• Luke Fenwick, 30, 1318 Division St., Goshen, was arrested by Goshen police on a charge of theft from Martin’s Supermarket, 1527 Bashor Road, Goshen, at 6:20 p.m. Thursday. Fenwick was cited and released on a court date.

Identity theft report

• Philip Metzler of Goshen, told Elkhart County police that someone used his name and social security number to obtain a Dish Network Service between April 2011 and Jan., 2012 for an address in Etna Green without his consent or knowledge. Metzler told police he was living in an apartment in Nappanee and discovered the incident when Dish Network and a collection agency began contacting him about the delinquent account.

Fraud report

• Roberta Van Ness of Goshen told Goshen police someone used her debit card to make a transaction without permission at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Battery reports

• Staff at Oaklawn, 330 Lakeview Drive, Goshen, told Goshen police a juvenile resident assaulted two staff members and received minor injuries from the juvenile at 6:49 p.m. Sunday.

• Elkhart County police received a report on the battery of a 17-year-old male at the Benton Spillway, 68000 C.R. 31, Goshen, at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Public indecency reports

• Elkhart County police received a report of a man exposing himself to another person walking on C.R. 33, near the Pumpkinvine Trail in Middlebury around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Traffic arrests

• Skila Dehoff, 21, 223 Olive St., Goshen, was ticketed on a charge of operating a motor vehicle on a public highway without ever receiving a license at 209 Chicago Avenue, Goshen at 8:24 p.m. Thursday. Dehoff was released on her own recognizance.

• Ryan M. Hershberger, 22, 120 S. Silverwood, Goshen, was arrested by Goshen police on a charge of operating a vehicle while his license was suspended prior at 2:27 a.m. Friday after a traffic stop in the 500 block of W. Pike Street for speeding and failure to indicate a lane change prior to 200 feet. Hershberger was given a ticket with a court date and released.

Drug/alcohol arrests

• Bobby Lamb, 21, 26086 C.R. 21, Bristol, was cited into court by Elkhart County police on a charge for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday.
