GOSHEN —
Goshen police have released a composite sketch of a suspect in a recent shooting.
On Oct. 5, shortly after 6 p.m., officers were called to 1310 W. Clinton St. in reference to a call of a man lying in his yard. Upon arrival officers located Michael Edwards, the victim of a multiple gunshot wounds. Edwards was transported to a South Bend Hospital for treatment of his wounds.
Edwards, with the assistance of a composite artist, on Tuesday created a sketch of the suspect in the incident. The suspect is described as a dark-complexioned, black male between the ages of 15 and 22, slender build, and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall.

The Middlebury Police Department has received complaints from local residents of a scam that is being done in the area. Residents receive a call from an individual who identifies himself from Publishers Clearing House. He advises the resident that they have won a luxury car and $800,000 in cash.

Two children found in vacant home
Goshen police were called to a vacant residence in the 400 block of North Fifth Street, Goshen, at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday. Officers found a 4-year-old and 3-month-old alone inside the residence.
