Juvenile arrested on charge of drug dealing

A 17-year-old male was arrested on a charge of dealing marijuana during a traffic stop at Main Street and Lincoln Avenue in downtown Goshen around 9:53 p.m. Friday, according to Goshen police.

The juvenile was released to his parent.

Theft/burglary reports

• Jessica Tipsword, 28, and Michelle Lambuth, 28, both of 623 S. Main St., Goshen, were arrested on charges of theft at Wal-Mart on Lincolnway East around 1:15 p.m. Friday, according to Goshen police.

• Ricky L. Sinclair, 31, 318 Jefferson St., Elkhart, was arrested on a charge of theft at Meijer on Elkhart Road around 10:08 p.m. Friday, according to Goshen police.

• Ronald Hershberger, 415 East St., Goshen, reported his Schwinn mountain bike stolen from the Court House Pub at 132 N. Main St. around 8 p.m. Friday, according to Goshen police.

Vandalism/criminal mischief reports

• Hayley Gard, 26, 500 Mercer Ave., Apartment 14, Goshen, reported criminal mischief to her vehicle around 6:15 p.m. Friday, according to Goshen police.

Alcohol/drug arrests

• George G. Pena, 39, 2405 Redspire Blvd., Goshen, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana after he was stopped for a traffic violation at C.R. 17 and Bashor Road around 12:26 p.m. Friday, according to Goshen police.

OWI arrests

• Heather Bickel, 26, 20514 U.S. 6, Milford, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated after she was pulled over for a loud muffler near 1918 Lincolnway East around 3:24 a.m. Saturday, according to Goshen police.

• Carlos J. Gallegos, 21, 56664 Arch Court, Elkhart, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended-prior after he was stopped for reportedly failing to dim his headlights in the 1900 block of Bashor Road around 1:54 a.m. Saturday, according to Goshen police.

    The Middlebury Police Department has received complaints from local residents of a scam that is being done in the area. Residents receive a call from an individual who identifies himself from Publishers Clearing House. He advises the resident that they have won a luxury car and $800,000 in cash.

    Goshen police were called to a vacant residence in the 400 block of North Fifth Street, Goshen, at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday. Officers found a 4-year-old and 3-month-old alone inside the residence.
