MIDDLEBURY —
A Middlebury man was arrested on several charges early Thursday after allegedly threatening police with a shotgun.
Arrested was Matthew S. Grantham, 33, 310 Bluebird Lane.
Middlebury police were called to a domestic disturbance at Grantham's home at 12:53 a.m., according to a report filed by officer Marc Cockburn. Grantham threatened officers with a shotgun in the presence of his two young children, police allege.
Officers subdued Grantham by using a Taser.
Grantham was arrested on charges of domestic battery, intimidation, strangulation and resisting arrest. He was incarcerted in the Elkhart County Jail, where he was being held without bond Thursday afternoon.
