GOSHEN —

Jennifer Yates and James Hoke, both of Goshen, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Debra and Steve Murray, St. Joseph, Mich.

She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1998 from Cornell College. She is employed by Jules Boutique, Goshen.

The groom-to-be is the son of Marsha and Gary Hoke, Goshen.

He received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 1994 from the University of Indianapolis. He is a detective with the Goshen Police Department.

A Sept. 4 wedding is planned at the Spohn Ballroom, Goshen.
