Serena Anne Tobias and Jared David Noel Newburg, both of Elkhart, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan Tobias, Goshen, and the late Toby Tobias.
She graduated from Goshen High School and from Michiana College. She works as a medical assistant for Goshen Health Systems.
The groom-to-be is the son of Marsha and Dick Newburg, Shipshewana.
He graduated from Northridge High School, Middlebury, and attended Hillsdale College and Goshen College. He is employed by BABSCO Supply, Elkhart.
They plan to be married Sept. 1 at St. James Episcopal Church, Goshen.
