Melissa Martinez and Douglas Lehman, both of Albuquerque, N.M., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Alice Garcia, Albuquerque, and the late Robert S. Martinez. She is a student at the University of New Mexico.
The groom-to-be is the son of Gay and Sanford Lehman, Goshen.
He graduated in 1994 from Goshen High School and in 1998 received a degree in sociology/anthropology from Goshen College. He is self-employed as an electrical contractor at Lehman Electric in Albuquerque.
They plan to marry May 6 at Syracuse Lake.
