Abigail Elizabeth Hart, Savannah, Tenn., and Patrick Morgan Thompson, Elkhart, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marlene and Jeff Hart, Savannah, Tenn. She is a 2009 graduate of Hardin County High School and a pre-med student at the University of Memphis, awating acceptance into a nursing program.
The groom-to-be is the son of Dawn Frantz Thompson and Dennis Thompson Jr., Elkhart. He is a 2009 graduate of Concord high School and studied information technology/networking at Jackson State University, Jackson, Tenn. He is a technical supervisor for Radio Shack.
The couple plan an Oct. 13 wedding at Northside Baptist Church, Savannah.
