The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sharon Whitacre, Elkhart, and David Whitacre, Bristol.
She graduated from Concord High School, Elkhart, and received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ball State University, Muncie. She works as an enrollment assistant at Indiana Tech, Elkhart.
The groom-to-be is the son of Christy Campbell, Granger, and Steve Erwin, Elkhart.
He graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School, Elkhart, and received a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Ball State University, Muncie. He works as a customer service and collections representative at Memorial Medical Group, South Bend.
They plan to marry July 6 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Elkhart.
