The bride-to-be is the daughter of Claris and Wayne Burkholder, Goshen.
She graduated this year from Fairfield Junior-Senior High School, Goshen, and works in the gift department of Das Dutchman Essenhaus, Middlebury.
The groom-to-be is the son of Phyllis Hershberger, LaPorte, Texas, and Don Stout, New Paris.
He graduated in 2006 from Northridge High School, Middlebury, and works as a detail technician at Eby Ford, Goshen.
They plan to marry Sept. 1 at Siloam Fellowship Church.
