Barger-Nesbitt

JoyLynn Danielle Barger, Warsaw, and Matthew Allen Nesbitt, Goshen, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Annette and Kirk Barger, Nesbru, Norway.

She is a 2003 home school graduate and in 2006 received a bachelor’s degree in Bible and counseling from Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, Pa. She is a linguistics student at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and a teacher’s assistant at Jefferson Elementary School, Winona Lake.

The groom-to-be is the son of Catherine and Michael Nesbitt, Goshen.

He graduated in 2002 from Goshen High School and studied small engine repair at the Elkhart Area Career Center. He is a small engine technician at Gardners Outdoor Power Equipment, Goshen, and a reserve police officer with the Goshen Police Department.

A Feb. 27 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church, Goshen.
