Johnson-McDaniel


Reitha Kay Johnson, Goshen, and Troy Shawn McDaniel, Idabel, Okla., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ken G. and Rosanne K. Johnson, Goshen.

She is a 1991 graduate of Calvary Christian Learning Center, Goshen, a 1994 graduate of Free Gospel Bible Institute, Export, Pa., and a 2003 graduate of Ozark Bible Institute, Neosho, Mo.

She taught at Christian schools in Indiana, West Virginia and Missouri. She has been involved in missions in Guatemala, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. She is employed at the Trolley Cafe in Goshen.

The groom-to-be is the son of Carl E. McDaniel and L. Sue McDaniel, both of Idabel, Okla.

He graduated in 1989 from McCurtain Christian Academy, Idabel, and in 1991 from Carl Albert State College, Poteau, Okla. He received a certificate from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, Okla., in 1992.

He has been involved in numerous missionary projects in Mexico and Haiti and is employed by 4-Way Pest Control, Idabel.

A Jan. 1 wedding is planned at the First Assembly of God, Goshen. They plan to take a wedding cruise to the Bahamas and will reside in Idabel.
