GOSHEN —
Nicole Thwaits, Syracuse, and Scott Beasley, Fort Wayne, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rhonda and Dave Thwaits, Syracuse.
She graduated in 2005 from Fairfield Junior-Senior High School, Goshen, and in 2009 received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne. She works as a first-grade teacher at Benton Elementary School.
The groom-to-be is the son of Kenya Beasley, Syracuse, and the late Ronald Beasley.
He graduated in 2002 from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and in 2006 received a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne. He is owner of Northern Lakes Insurance, Syracuse.
They plan to marry June 2 at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth.
