Charisse Fisher and Matthew Shafer, both of Indianapolis, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Todd and Vicki Fisher, Topeka.
She graduated from Westview High School in 2000, and she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in finance, focusing on corporate finance and financial institutions, from Ball State University in 2004. She is currently pursuing a nursing degree from Ivy Tech State College, Indianapolis, and she is currently employed at Brother’s Bar and Grill, Indianapolis.
The groom-to-be is the son of Charles and Vicki Schafer, Carmel.
He graduated from Park Tudor School in 2005, and he is currently attending Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, majoring in accounting and finance, with a minor in economics. He is also employed at Brother’s Bar and Grill, Indianapolis.
They plan to wed Dec. 29 at Historical Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.
