'Running' to South Bend

Lewis Black to appear at Morris Performing Arts Center

Presumably he has enough fuel to get to South Bend.

Comedian Lewis Black is scheduled to perform Nov. 15 at the Morris Performing Arts Center. Showtime is 8 p.m. Black is making Morris one of the stops on his “Running on Empty” tour.

Black came to national prominence through his appearances on “The Daily Show” in 1996. Those appearances led to four specials on Comedy Central.

Black has produced six comedy albums, including the Grammy-winning “The Carnegie Hall Performance” and “Stark Raving Black.” He is also the author of “Nothing Sacred,” “Me of Little Faith” and “I’m Dreaming of a Black Christmas.”

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. They can be purchased at LiveNation.com, www.morriscenter.org, at the Morris Center Box Office or by calling 574-235-9190.
