Tickets cost $10 and are available at Better World Books, 118 E. Washington St., Goshen, or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.

New World Arts is located at 211 S. Main St., with the entrance and parking at the rear of the building.

Next weekend

Maple Syrup Days March 16-17 — The public is invited to the maple sugar harvest with LaGrange County Parks.

LaGrange County Parks and South Milford Lions are hosting Maple Syrup Days March 16-17.

Visitors to Maple Wood Nature Center will see a complete, working sugar camp. Horse wagon tours will go through the woods to visit the tapping and sap gathering operations. Inside the sugar house the sap gets boiled into syrup while visitors watch.

Guests get to participate in the process by eating all the syrup covered pancakes they care to. The South Milford Lions are serving pancakes all day long. Meals are $6 for adults and $3 for children.

There are other special things to watch. The old-fashioned kettle boilers will demonstrate a sugar camp of around 100 years ago. The backyard-style home sugaring operation is for the do-it-yourselfers with their own sugar maples to tap. “Syrup on Strings” is a new marionette show with string puppets performing maple-themed variety acts.

Pancakes will be served from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sugar House tours will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wagon tours through the sugar bush are 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. “Syrup on Strings” is hourly from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
